Dredging of Connecting Channel on Jalan Tabah I Completed

The dredging of the connecting channel on Jalan Tabah I, RT 03/01, Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village, Kelapa Gading Sub-district, North Jakarta, completed.

It has been ongoing since early March 2024 and was finished yesterday

Kelapa Gading Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Citrin Indrawati said the channel as wide as three meters was carried out up to 500 meters.

She explained the work involved as many as seven personnel of PPSU. There was also a truck to dredge mud and garbage.

"We have managed to collect 68 cubic of mud and garbage," he explained.

He hoped that it could optimally anticipate flooding in the Kelapa Gading area.

"I urge the public to help maintain the cleanliness of the channels by not throwing garbage carelessly," he uttered.

The work received appreciation from one of the residents from RW 01, Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village, Daniar (53).

"This is important, as the mud and garbage are already thick. Hopefully, when it rains heavily, the water won't overflow onto the road again," he stated.
